Company Bio

Walsin, one of Northern Irelands leading specialist Architectural Glazing contractors, requires a Site Manager to join their established team on a permanent basis. They have been in business for 24 years and continue to expand throughout the UK & Ireland on a variety of contracts including retail, commercial, educational and healthcare.

 The company is currently headquartered in Lisburn and during Spring 2019 will migrate to a new “State of the Art” 40,000 sq. ft factory also within the Lisburn area.


A Site Manager/Supervisor works under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager. They will ensure that all site works are coordinated and carried out in line with programme requirements and in a safe manner and carry out the necessary checks to bring the installation to a satisfactory completion with respect to Main Contractor sign off and to the standards as set out by the systems being used.


  • Be able to read and understand Walsin CAD drawings and Architectural plan and elevation drawings.
  • Have attended product training courses for Schuco, Metal Technology and Aluprof.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar to a satisfactory standard.
  • Hold a current CSR Supervisors card.
  • Hold an SSSTS / SMSTS Health and Safety Certificate
  • Hold a current driving License
  • Be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel to a satisfactory standard.
  • Be able to use Autocad for reading purposes.
  • Be able to carry out site measuring.
  • Be able to communicate in the English language both verbally and in written format.
  • Available to travel extensively within the UK and abroad as required.

  • £45,000-£55,000
  • Mon to Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm
